Although this course is called ‘Introduction,’ it includes many of the core teachings and will transform your daily practice. Prior experience with Uncovering the Voice is not required for Sessions 1 and 2, only your willingness to work with this impulse of renewal. All are welcome, whether you are completely new to singing or an advanced vocalist. You will learn life-changing new ways of relating to your voice and caring for it as an ongoing exercise.
Please prepare yourself for the group class by reading chapters one and eight in Uncovering the Voice, The Cleansing Power of Song by Valborg Werbeck-Svardstrom. These chapters contain the theory behind what we will be focusing on during this session. We will be reviewing the content from the book together so purchasing it is not mandatory. If you do own the book, please bring it to class. As a reminder, Christiaan has a strict no-cancelation policy. Please choose your times carefully. If you are unable to make your scheduled lesson for any reason, you will be responsible for the full lesson cost.
